About TEDx Dal Lake

TEDx DalLake is an independently organized TEDx event held in Srinagar, Kashmir. Like all TEDx events, it operates under a free license granted by TED — the global nonprofit known for “Ideas Worth Spreading.” At TEDx DalLake, speakers present ideas and stories that aim to inspire, challenge, and connect communities through meaningful conversations.

Purpose & Focus

• It is designed to be a platform for thinkers, innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from Kashmir and beyond to share powerful ideas that can spark positive change.

• Rather than being a commercial or marketing event, its emphasis is on community impact, storytelling, creativity, and critical thinking.

Theme — Changemakers of Kashmir

• The current edition of TEDx DalLake is themed “Changemakers of Kashmir,” highlighting individuals who are reshaping the Valley through innovation, leadership, cultural contributions, social activism, education, and entrepreneurship.
